Stayed for three days and two nights in an oceanfront “tower” room. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Jonathan (night supervisor front lobby) was very professional, nice, and informative about the places to visit, etc. in the area. Had dinner in both on site restaurants and I highly recommend both.. great food especially the grouper. Plan to return soon. -Rick & Darlene, Virginia
Traveling for business, I found Litchfield Inn using kayak.com. What a find. Portions of the resort were built in the 60s. I stayed in the older section. The rooms were very, very clean and fresh feeling. The entire grounds appear to have been freshly painted. The rooms reminded my of beach vacations with family when I was a child, brought back many good memories. The staff was very friendly. Definitely worth the trip if you are looking for simple accommodations. The restaurant was outstanding. I had an absolutely delicious dinner with outstanding service and a masterful chef – one of my top 25 best meals ever. Easy and direct access to the beach. Tremendous value. – Marcus, Georgia
We just had two delightful nights in a renovated Tower “king” unit. We were to stay one night but enjoyed it so much we stayed another and reserved to return for 4 nights in April (with the grandsons). Groupon certificates make it very reasonable.The staff was superb–Mara at the desk, Rick in maintenance, and the ladies who cleaned–all were positive and helpful. Far beyond what we’ve experienced in other beach resort complexes. Our balcony had amazing ocean and island views. The unit was very clean. Our king bed had a comfy pillow-top mattress. The bathroom had double basins and a fully tiled walk-in shower. The mini-kitchen provided all we needed for snacks. The continental breakfast was enhanced by a waffle-maker and hard-boiled eggs–it would have been nice to have a microwave to heat the pastries. You are so close to the beach, you feel you are really on it. Miles of white sand for walks or rides if you bring bikes. All in all–the best short break we’ve had in awhile and now the anticipation of going again. – James, South Carolina
