Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade

Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade

If you are staying at our beautiful oceanfront hotel in Pawleys Island this December, don’t miss your chance to see the Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade. Murrells Inlet is just a short drive from Litchfield Inn and their Christmas Parade is a family-friendly fan favorite. Folks come back year after year with their children to see the creative floats, meet Santa, and get into the holiday spirit.

The Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade will take place on December 2, 2012. The parade begins at 3:00 pm and will happen rain or shine. The parade route starts at Booty’s Outdoors on Wilcox Ave. and continue down Highway 17 business to the Brookwood Inn on Pendergrass Ave. The route will turn toward the Frontage Road and Highway 17 intersection where it will disband.

The Murrells Inlet Christmas Parade is truly a kid-friendly event. All floats in the parade will be decorated with children in mind. In fact, the 6 judges that will be determining the best float are all children. Santa will be on the fire truck at the very end of the parade. While everyone can dress up and get in the spirit, attendees are asked not to dress up as Santa so the children don’t get confused.

This Christmas Parade in Murrells Inlet is one of many holiday activities happening on the Grand Strand this winter. You may also want to check out The Carolina Opry Christmas Special for some singing, dancing and comedy in a great Christmas show. Another fantastic holiday attraction in Myrtle Beach is The Night of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens.
