“New Year’s Eve at the Litchfield Inn” – January 3, 2012
This was a Groupon purchase. I had never heard of Pawley’s Island or the Litchfield Inn. The room was beautiful. I loved the comforter on the bed. The bathroom was great with a huge shower. My only “issue” is I wanted an ocean view….I was on the ocean side (on the first floor) with the dune in my way. I couldn’t see the ocean. The staff was very helpful when I called to ask a question. I would go back to Litchfield Inn again!
“Great Experience” – January 2, 2012
Staff was very nice and caring, room was very clean and in great shape, and the view was beautiful. Our son lives near by and suggested this place. They had a great off-season price and upgraded us for free on arrival which was a nice Christmas present. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Pawleys Island area.
“Great Vacation” – August 6, 2012
I had a great time. The room was great, I was able to read, enjoy the beach and the pool and just relax. The staff was helpful and there is plenty to do all around the hotel. Especially enjoyed sitting at the bar at sunset and enjoying the wonder view.
“Hard to Beat Value” – July 16, 2012
We have been coming here for 20+ years and always look forward to our return trip. So close to the beach, relaxing atmosphere, plus has recently been updated and refreshed. This place is very close to anything you could want in the MB area, yet is somewhat secluded and always quiet. Great beach to walk on or swim in, your choice.
“Can’t Beat It!” – July 1, 2012
We have been going to Oceanfront Litchfield Inn for our last four vacations, and will keep coming back. Not only are the rooms nice, clean and comfortable with great views, but having the Cabana Cafe on site, virtually on the beach, makes this hotel a real treasure. The food is leaps and bounds above fish baskets and bar food. The casual cafe/bar menu is straight from the chef of the high-end Austin’s restaurant on the second floor. We eat in the Cabana every day, lunch and dinner throughout our stay and enjoy trying a different menu item each time. The wait staff and bartenders are not only friendly, but get to know you over the span of your stay. Our first year there, we explored other restaurants around the island only to find out the best food was right on site. No driving and truly delicious. I highly recommend Oceanfront Litchfield Inn for the rooms, the beach and the Cabana Cafe.
