Harvest Home Festival Weekend – Pawleys Island Events

Also within there are there are many great Pawleys Islands Events. One great event that you won’t want to miss is the Harvest Home Festival Weekend held at Brookgreen Gardens. The event will be held on October 13th and October 14th from 9:30am-4:30p.m each day.

Brookgreen Gardens is a National Historic Landmark with a great collection of items. These include sculptures, gorgeous flowers, and more. The annual fall festival, Harvest Home, is a great weekend for the entire family. There are many great activities including scarecrow building, pumpkin painting, and live entertainment. The newest exhibit this year is Jerry Walls, a professional bird guide. He will be presenting an educational and interactive program with a collection of live animals.

The kids will be extremely excited by the awesome activity this year of sidewalk chalk painting. There will also be a kids concert series by Susana and Timmy Abell. While watching these concerts they will include an original puppet performance taking the audience around the world. Bring out your lawn chairs and blankets as there will be live music at the Welcome Center lawn area. Don’t miss out on the crafts including pine cone bird feeders and yarn crafts.

This is a great weekend to bring out the entire family. There is something for everyone to enjoy with all of the great entertainment provided.
