31st Annual Dickens Christmas Show and Festivals

The Litchfield Inn is a beautiful and classic oceanfront resort located in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. It is a very peaceful area for taking a vacation, but is also close to some of guests favorite vacation spots. It is only a short drive to the Myrtle Beach area where there are plenty of attractions, shopping, and events. An extremely popular event that will be held this year is the 31st Annual Dickens Christmas Show and Festivals. This is a time where everyone will get into the holiday spirit and begin to do all of their holiday shopping. The event is held on November 8th-November 11th with a variety of exhibits and holiday tours throughout the weekend.

The 31st Annual Dickens Christmas Show and Festivals gets everyone excited and ready for the holiday season. It also makes everyone who attends remember the true importance of the holidays, and that is giving. There is much opportunity for charities and non-profit organizations to participate. In order to do so there are many unique fundraising programs available. These include sampling of holiday foods from around the world, displays of holiday trees, wreaths, and center pieces. Each of these items will be bid on, and the highest bidder will win the prize. All of the profits go to the organization in charge.

The nonprofit organizations will go through 5 different holiday festivals, which are exciting for all guests to see. One popular event is The Festival of Tables, which is focused on holiday centerpieces. There will be the traditional holiday center pieces to one-of-a-kind pieces. Another is The Festival of Wreaths, where there will be a number of amazingly stylish wreaths to choose from. All of the bidding at the 5 different holiday festivals is held through a silent auction.

For more information on this exciting and entertaining event be sure to talk with any employee while staying at The Litchfield Inn.
